Duramen Prize Tourney For May 25, 2005 Winner: Jareth Comments: We held our 22nd Duramen Prize Tourney near the great body of water in the Barony of Dragon's Laire. HL Alyna ran the lists in this double elim style of tournament. Earl Sir Strider and HL Conchobar marshalled this evening, while Jenae did a good job of heralding the rounds (her first time as a field herald). The entrants in the tournament were Frederick the Fink, Marcus Tullius, Eadric de Lonestone, Jareth, Rayner, and Edana. Through the multiple battles of the evening, for the prize of a chest filled with "booty", emerged a two way tie for second between Eadric and Rayner. Jareth was in the finals. Eadric and Rayner fought fiercely, alas Rayner emerged victorious to find himself in the finals, a best two of three, against Jareth. Jareth went on to defeat Rayner in the finals of the tourney this evening. Hope to see everyone at the next Prize Tourney, consult the calendar on the Duramen site for the next tourney date.
