Duramen Prize Tourney For September 29, 2004 Winner: Squire John Wolfstan Comments: Nearing the end of the nice weather for the tourney season, we held our monthly prize tourney for September. Thanks are in order for those that assisted with the tourney, especially to Cedric Wlfraven for being the list runner, marshal, and herald. This evening found 10 fighters competing for the prize of a wooden chest donated by Squire Kristopher and Terri. The fighters were Loric, Marcus Tullius, Thomas St. Claire, Eadric de Lonestone, John Wolfstan, Ronan, Earl Sir Strider, Joseph McGregor, Jareth of House Persistent, and Anthony. This was a double elimination style tournament with John Wolfstan meeting Earl Sir Strider in the finals. The finals were fought in a best 2 of 3 style with John emerging as the victor this evening. There is one more tournament left for the year to be held in October. Hope to see everyone there. --John Wolfstan |
