Duramen Prize Tourney For August 25, 2004 Winner: Squire John Wolfstan Comments: Just prior to September Crown, we held our monthly prize tourney. We had 7 fighters competing for the coveted prize this month of a place setting for the upcoming feasting season. The fighters that found their way into the lists were Loric, Eadric de Lonestone, Earl Sir Strider of Duramen, John Wolfstan, Conchobhor MacEoin, Kristopher of Duramen, and Robert. Battling their way through their opponents, the final round found John Wolfstan facing Earl Sir Strider. Through the fierce fighting, John Wolfstan emerged vicorious. The prize was given to Robert, entrant in the tourney, as he was new to fighting as well as the SCA. --John Wolfstan |
