Duramen Prize Tourney For March 31, 2004

Winner: Squire John Wolfstan

Comments:
This cold evening in March, on which the Duramen Prize Tourney was fought, found many dedicated bystanders and 4 ferocious fighters. They were Marcus Tullius, Joseph McGregor, Squire Kristopher of Duramen, and Squire John Wolfstan. With the much appreciated assistance of Liu Xian, Catherine, and Deidre at the lists, the tourney was fought in a round robin format. Through the feriously fought bouts, there emerged two for the final round that was to be fought in a best 3 of 5. Squire Kristopher was to meet Squire John in the finals. John managed to get a shot in during each of the long, hard fought bouts to go two up on Kristopher before Kristopher showed John a weak spot in his defense. It was know John-2, Kristopher-1 when somehow John managed to get around Kristopher's tough defense to win the tournament. The prize was a hanging lamp that John presented to the list mistresses in appreciation of their assistance with the tourney. Now the three would have to determine their own tourney to see who won the lamp. The next prize tourney will be held on April 28th in Silverdale. See the calendar link at the left for more info on upcoming tournaments. --John Wolfstan
