Duramen Prize Tourney For September 24, 2003 Winner: Sergeant-Squire Osrik Wolfsbater Comments: September's prize tourney found fighters fighting the final rounds by moonlight due to our ever approaching feasting season. We had a great tournout with 13 fighters. They are as follows: Althon, Ahemed Ahteen Al Saif, Durin the Smith, Squire-Squire Mayorca (Squired to Duke Sir Skapti and Sir Skeggi, Squire Cedric Wlfraven (Squire to Jarl Sir Barak), Michael O'Comhdhan, HL Magnus Ravenspawn, Earl Sir Strider, Marcus Tullius, David Oxenfjord, Squire Karl Redstone (Squire to Sir Valtor), Sir Martin, and Sergeant-Squire Osrik Wolfsbater (Squire to Sir Rolf Longbow). The final round found Sir Martin battling against Sergeant- Squire Osrik by moonlight. The bouts were fought feriously by both. Out of the moonlight, Sergeant-Squire Osrik emerged victorious in the tournament and was awarded a chest with roses painted on it. The next Duramen Prize tourney to be held in October will be the last for the season. I will start next season's tourneys in January just before Ursulmas in preparation for Ursulmas.
