Duramen Prize Tourney For June 25, 2003 Winner: Archos Cedric Wlfraven Comments: The tourney field was graced with the presence of 10 fighters, marshalls, lists, and many spectators. Marshalls, lists, heralds, are always much appreciated. Thank you. The following fighters participated: Richard Dragun, Markward Von Trainel, Jade, Majorka, Alaricus Simmonds, Thomas St. Claire, Throst, Quintis Peltrasius, Cedric Wlfraven, and Joseph McGregor (please forgive misspellings). Out of these great fighters emerged our winner, Cedric Wlfraven, inspired by Brighitte Ross in a best two-out-of-three with Jospeh. A wicker tourney basket and table-top laterns were the prizes. Next month there will be two back-to-back prize tournaments. The first will be a single elim tournament for a sword length piece of rattan and a barred basket hilt. This is to build up the mind set for the double elim tourney to follow. See you there. --John Wolfstan |
